Residential Care

Chrislyn House offers long-term residential care and some of our residents have been with us for over 30 years. Residential care can be a suitable option for individuals who require more support and supervision than can be provided at home. Individuals receive 24-hour supervision and support from trained staff members. The level of care provided can vary depending on the specific needs of the residents

The goal of residential care is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals who are no longer able to live independently. Chrislyn House offers a higher level of care and supervision than what can be provided at home, ensuring that individuals receive the assistance they need to maintain their health and well-being.

Respite Care

Chirslyn House provides short-term care to individuals who are unable to care for themselves due to illness, disability, or age-related issues. It is designed to give primary caregivers a break from their caregiving responsibilities and provide temporary relief.

The purpose of respite care is to prevent caregiver burnout and provide support to family members who may be overwhelmed by the demands of caregiving. It allows caregivers to take time off, attend to their own needs, and recharge, knowing that their loved one is being cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

Overall, respite care plays a crucial role in supporting caregivers and ensuring the well-being of both the caregiver and the individual receiving care. It allows caregivers to maintain their own physical and mental health, which ultimately benefits the quality of care they provide to their loved ones.
